UNDER WATER PHOTOGRAPHY
We have during the last week had a Swiss under water photographer living at San Miguel. His name is Thomas Ehrensperger and he and his girl friend have been diving with Buceo Nerja on Burriana. I got some really good pictures from him that I put up in a gallery to show you all. It is good to show that there are really good diving grounds here with lots to see. MOUNTAINEERING to "el Cielo"
One good day we decided, this is the day!
The mountain "el Cielo" had for a long time been waiting for us, tempting us with it´s perfect peek of more than 1700 meters right outside Nerja.
Together with Mike from Life Adventure we went in his Land Rover up to the 800-meter level. Then the hard work began. Before you got your body´s motor running it was quite tough on your legs and breath, as it was rather steep, but then it was fine and you felt strong.
It was a lot more bushes and flowers than we had expected and it was very beautiful. Quite quickly we came up on hights above Nerja and the view became fantastic and you could see the coastal towns Maro och Nerja closest.
We worked on and after two and a half hours we reached the top!
On the top there is a big cross and there we sat down to have our lunch and to admire the view. We could see the coastline all the way to Marbella and when we looked out over the the Mediterranean Sea we could spot the Atlas mountains in Africa through the haze.
The walk down was of course much quicker and that gave us more time to look at all the different flowers and the view but we were pretty tired when we reached the car and went home. This was a wonderful, a bit demanding walk that we really can recommend and supply.

DIVING
The by far best diving company in Nerja, according to us, is Buceo Nerja, a five-star Padi Golden Resort. It is run by Master Instructor Barnabé and his swedish wife Catharina, both wonderful people. Here you can join at any level, from snorkling excursions with boat and try-on dives with scuba gear to diving educations on all levels! There are very nice diving waters around Nerja and Buceo Nerja takes you to the best places depending to the weather. Highest possible level on security, equipment and courses is their brand and they hold back no effort to make your excursion or diving course successful. PARTY ROOM
Our conference room can be used for a lot of different things. Apart from the obvious as a course- or conference room, it is often used as cinema. When we have courses in Paramotoring it is transformed into a workshop and garage. During some time it has also been used as an exhibition hall for a local swedish artist. We also plan to use it as a treatment room for different therapeuts. But last Saturday it was for the first time used for a party. May-Britt Malm celebrated her 70 years and gathered without problems friends and relatives with 31 persons around the table. Then there was even room for the catering and some dancing. RIDING EXCURSION
We now also have collaboration with the stable Hidalgo here in the outskirts of Nerja. On their fine horses you can go horse back riding straight up the mountains, either a shorter trip for a couple of hours and up to a full day tour. Then you can ride up river valleys all the way up to Frigiliana with picknick on the way or with a visit to a restaurant when you get there. All the way with a marvellous view over the mountains and the sea. For those that really want to get up in the mountains on the horse back there are even possibilities to go for several days and sleep out in the open. Then it is comforting to know that the horses have comfortable western saddles.

CARNEVAL
Between the third and the sixth of February it was the traditional carneval in Nerja and many other cities in Spain and around the world. Compared to famous carnevals like Trinidad and Rio this was different. In comparison this was unorganised and homemade but as I hope the pictures will show people had put down a lot of work and above all it was very joyful and spontanious. As usual here there was not a sign of troble or violence. Instead people are happy and having a party. Joyful people of all ages, from kids to old together in celebration and I have to say that I admire the Spanish people with it´s playfulness. In a town with only sixteen thousand inhabitants, how many would have joined where you live?

PARAMOTORING
We are established on our training grounds outside Granada. A very special and and calm micro climate makes this a perfect place to do training on. The great Sierra Nevadas in the background helps a lot and the great table land makes the winds linear and predictable. There are no obstacles or people for miles which helps the beginners. This is really the best way to fly and we are proud to have Lasse Lundberg, the the only certified instructor in Sweden, in our team. CANYONING
We have established collaboration with the Spanish company Sierraventura that runs expedition like excursions up in the national park of Almijara.
Before you are ready to go down rivers they will take you to a damm where you train to get confidence. Then it´s off with a Landrover to to the river of today.
Canyoning then is about descending down river gorges that has been created during the millions of years that the river has cut it´s way down through the limestone. That has created a fantastic and dramatic landscape with beautiful formations and you make your way down the river by swimming, sliding, jumping into pools and abseiling by rope down waterfalls. Incredibly beautiful, exciting and challanging and we really can recommend this!

JEEP TOUR
We went away with Mike from the company Life Adventure on a very enjoyable and beautiful jeep tour in the Almijara mountains close to Nerja.
Almijara is a national park and that you understand when you get up there.
Michael knows these mountains like his own pocket and we drove on very nice gravel roads no one would ever find.
We also saw some wild animals, like the rare mountain goat and Michael taught us about the different plants in the area.
On our way back we had a coffee in his nice cottage in the mountains.
Michael has many different excursions. Apart from jeep tours you can join his mountain walks that are divided into four different levels of hardship.

The conference room
During authumn we have gotten our conference room ready and established. It is fully equipped with a climate system, DVD, sound system, surround 5.1, video projector, white board aso. The room can be either arranged as a course room with 25 padded chairs with write desk or as a conference room with a table for 18 people.The room is also a 16:9 cinema.
